COBBS and Anduril advance defense partnership in Belgium
Costa Mesa CA, October 13, 2025 - Anduril Industries and Belgian defense company COBBS BELUX have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to expand Belgium’s defense industrial base through local assembly, sustainment, and training of Anduril systems.
The agreement was signed during a visit by the Belgian Minister of Defense to Anduril’s California headquarters, a visit that underscored Belgium’s commitment to innovation and sovereignty. The Minister met with Anduril engineers, toured advanced manufacturing lines, and observed live demonstrations of Anduril’s Lattice AI platform, before endorsing the new partnership.
The MOU establishes the foundation for Anduril’s first industrial footprint in Belgium. As part of the agreement, Anduril will open a Belgian office and work with COBBS to build local capacity for workforce training and sustainment of advanced defense technology.
“Anduril is making a long-term commitment to Belgium. Working with COBBS, we will assemble, sustain, and train in-country to strengthen sovereignty, resilience, and NATO collaboration,” said Brian Schimpf, CEO of Anduril Industries.
“Belgium welcomes Anduril’s commitment to our defense industrial base,” said Theo Francken, Belgian Minister of Defense. “This partnership with COBBS demonstrates the value of working with innovative defense technology companies that are willing to invest locally and support our long-term security, sovereignty, and commitments to NATO and our allies.”
